Our client, a global leader in the chemical industry, is seeking a Cloud Security Architect for their international Digital Hub in Madrid. This role focuses on designing and implementing scalable security solutions for their public cloud platform, primarily on Microsoft Azure, while collaborating with DevOps teams to ensure a secure and resilient infrastructure.
Your Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement robust security architectures, policies, and automated solutions tailored to modern methodologies like Zero Trust and DevSecOps.
- Continuously assess and enhance the security standards of the public cloud platform to ensure resilience and compliance.
- Collaborate with global product teams to align and integrate secure design principles across projects.
- Address and resolve advanced challenges at the intersection of business needs, technology, and compliance requirements.
Your Profile:
- A degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related technical field.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience working with enterprise-level cloud infrastructures, with hands-on knowledge of Azure and infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, ARM templates).
- Practical expertise in Azure monitoring and security tools like Azure Defender, EventHub, or Log Analytics.
- Proficiency in at least one scripting language (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Bash).
- In-depth understanding of core cloud security principles, including identity management, encryption, compliance, and governance.
- Familiarity with widely recognized cybersecurity standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, or CSA.
- Strong communication skills for working with international stakeholders and influencing key decisions.
- Beneficial:
Certifications in Azure, AWS, or security frameworks (e.g., CISSP); Familiarity with IT frameworks such as ITIL or Agile methodologies like Scrum or Kanban; Experience using tools like Azure DevOps, ServiceNow, QRadar, or Qualys; German language skills.
