This role involves working end-to-end to understand the impact new applications will have and guide the teams on how to best use the resources available to them. It´s a highly innovative area in a large industrial company that requires a high level of coordination with the ability to make improvements on the existing clusters, namely taking a front role in securing environments and making sure they stay reliable.
The Focus
- Designing and implementing security protocols for cloud-based cluster environments.
- Ensuring the secure deployment and operation of applications within these clusters.
- Conducting security assessments and audits of cloud cluster infrastructure.
- Monitoring and responding to security incidents within the cloud clusters.
- Collaborating with development and operations teams to integrate security practices into the cloud cluster management lifecycle.
- Staying updated with the latest security threats and technologies related to cloud and cluster computing.
Preferred Profile
- Background in DevOps, with experience in automating and managing infrastructure and applications at scale.
OR
- Familiarity with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, ensuring that security is integrated at every stage of the software development lifecycle.
OR
- Experience in Cloud Engineering, with a deep understanding of cloud service providers, cloud architectures, and cloud security best practices.
OR
- Strong foundation in Application Security, including secure coding practices, vulnerability assessment, and threat modeling.
