Country Sales Manager - Hungary

Our Client, an international pet food manifacturer with a presence in 90 countries around the world, is looking for a Country Sales Manager – Hungary, for leading a sales team of 5 and direct management of pet food retail chains.

Responsibilities:

  • Developing and supporting our commercial activities in Hungary.
  • Implementing our commercial strategies aimed to develop and increase business opportunities with existing customers and to find new customers.
  • Managing and coaching Hungarian Sales Team
  • Following and analyzing market evolutions and trends in petfood, evaluating competitors' products and maintaining accurate records of all pricings by means of activity reports.
  • Setting up and implementation annual sales and marketing plans for the area.
  • Mapping the Modern Trade possibilities (pet shop chains, DIY, online) and negotiating with key accounts.
  • Organizing and participating at professional exhibitions and consumer shows.
  • Performing regular store-checks
  • Reporting to the Area Sales Manager Central Europe

Requirements:

  • Relevant degree in Sales or Agriculture
  • Strong commercial flair and excellent communication skills
  • Sales and results-driven
  • Relevant experience at a commercial level and experience in coaching a small team
  • Experience in the pet food market as a significant advantage
  • Fluency in Hungarian and English
  • Outstanding team player and coach, constructive thinker, and works with conviction
  • Willingness to travel occasionally
