Our Client, an international pet food manifacturer with a presence in 90 countries around the world, is looking for a Country Sales Manager – Hungary, for leading a sales team of 5 and direct management of pet food retail chains.
Responsibilities:
- Developing and supporting our commercial activities in Hungary.
- Implementing our commercial strategies aimed to develop and increase business opportunities with existing customers and to find new customers.
- Managing and coaching Hungarian Sales Team
- Following and analyzing market evolutions and trends in petfood, evaluating competitors' products and maintaining accurate records of all pricings by means of activity reports.
- Setting up and implementation annual sales and marketing plans for the area.
- Mapping the Modern Trade possibilities (pet shop chains, DIY, online) and negotiating with key accounts.
- Organizing and participating at professional exhibitions and consumer shows.
- Performing regular store-checks
- Reporting to the Area Sales Manager Central Europe
Requirements:
- Relevant degree in Sales or Agriculture
- Strong commercial flair and excellent communication skills
- Sales and results-driven
- Relevant experience at a commercial level and experience in coaching a small team
- Experience in the pet food market as a significant advantage
- Fluency in Hungarian and English
- Outstanding team player and coach, constructive thinker, and works with conviction
- Willingness to travel occasionally
