In order to expand their teams of experts in The Netherlands, we look for a Data Engineer with focus on data pipelines to work for the Defense area:

Key Responsibilities

  • You will establish, develop, test, analyze and maintain advanced data pipeline applications for complex and scalable data platforms
  • You will focus on the CI/CD Pipeline to ensure that the delivery mechanism of all data continues to work optimally
  • You will to continuously improve and mantain databases
  • You will implement new data feeds within the existing data pipelines, and design and create proofs of concept (POCs), new processes and architectures for existing and new requests
  • You will document of all the above mentioned activities
  • You will make sure you keep up to date with the latest cloud technologies and then translate these into workflow
  • You will ask your colleagues and the Defense staff what project requirements, wishes and planning are needed

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • At least 3 years of professional experience in a similar position
  • Know-how of the following technologies/practices: ITODP / Devops; Apache Kafka; Golang; Java; Elastic Stack; YAML; JSON; Jenkins; Travis CI; GITLAB; Nutanix
  • Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and container orchestration with Kubernetes
  • A good knowledge of Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment principles
  • Experience working in diverse and virtual agile teams
  • Excellent communication in Dutch and collaboration abilities
