Your role:
  • Accurately produce month-end and year-end financial statements, adhering to legal timelines.
  • Ensure compliance with local tax, accounting, and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage bank accounts and treasury for optimal working capital usage.
  • Collaborate in creating budgets and financial forecasts with department heads.
  • Monitor budget performance, analyzing and reporting variances.
  • Handle invoicing for local and foreign clients and manage stakeholder relationships.
  • Contribute to strategic planning, including European and national funding applications.
  • Develop and improve financial processes, policies, and risk management strategies.
Your profile
  • Bachelor's or Master's in Finance, Accounting, Management or related field.
  • Certified Accountant (Mandatory)
  • Proven experience in financial reporting, compliance, and management accounting.
  • Expertise in local and international tax, accounting, and regulatory standards.
  • Strong skills in financial management, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Analytical mindset for performance monitoring and variance analysis.
  • Experience in invoicing and client relationship management.
  • Ability to build relationships with key stakeholders, including authorities and service providers.
  • Strategic planning skills with experience in funding applications and business analysis.
  • Proficient in process improvement and integrating new financial technologies.
  • Risk management capabilities with knowledge of financial regulations and corporate governance.
  • Fluency in both English and Portuguese is mandatory.
