Notably, they contribute to the ITER (International Thermonuclear Experimental Reactor) project, heralded as one of the world's most significant scientific endeavors. Their primary expertise lies in inspecting and testing crucial nuclear power plant components with systems entirely developed in-house.

In this role you will oversee the management, planning, execution, and successful completion of Field Service department projects across multiple sites worldwide, with a primary focus on the nuclear sector.

Responsibilities and Key Expertise:
  • Develop and manage NDT project plans, including scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and budgets
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements and allocate resources
  • Oversee all aspects of NDT field service projects, ensuring alignment with plans, schedules, and budgets. Lead the preparation of NDT test reports, maintenance of equipment, and development of NDT testing techniques
  • Provide leadership to the field service team, including project managers and technicians, assigning tasks, setting expectations, and conducting performance evaluations. Foster a collaborative and productive work environment
  • Act as the main point of contact for clients and stakeholders, communicating project status, risks, and recommendations. Resolve conflicts and manage expectations
  • Maintain strong relationships with business partners and ensure deliverables meet quality standards and customer expectations
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, monitor progress, and implement corrective actions to avoid delays or budget overruns
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including plans, reports, and updates for management and stakeholders
  • Drive process improvements, implement best practices, and optimize project delivery for enhanced customer satisfaction
Job Requirements:
  • Experience supervising or managing NDT teams during power generation outages (nuclear experience preferred)
  • Willingness to travel internationally
  • Fluent in spoken and written English
  • Degree in engineering or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience
  • Current or lapsed NDT certifications (UT, ET, VT at Level 2 or 3) according to ISO 9712 (e.g., PCN) and/or ASNT standards
  • Strong project management skills, including planning, resource management, and meeting deadlines
  • Proven leadership and team management abilities, with experience motivating cross-functional teams
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with internal teams, clients, and contractors
  • Advanced problem-solving and decision-making capabilities to address project challenges effectively
  • In-depth knowledge of NDT industry standards, regulations, and best practices
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software
  • Flexibility to travel to project sites and work in diverse field environments
