Your role

  • Needs Assessment:
  • Collaborate with client companies to identify specific relocation needs.
  • Consider factors like budget, timeline, and employee preferences.
    • Policy Development and Implementation:
  • Develop and execute relocation policies with clients.
  • Ensure policies match client goals and budget.
    • Employee Support and Counselling:
  • Be the primary contact for relocating employees.
    • Vendor Management:
  • Engage with vendors such as estate agents and immigration consultants.
  • Negotiate contracts and monitor service quality.
    • Budgeting and Cost Management:
  • Handle the relocation budget.
  • Estimate and control relocation-related costs.
    • Compliance and Legal Considerations:
  • Stay updated on relocation-related laws and regulations.
  • Ensure the relocation process complies with all legal requirements.
  • Coordinate services like property searches and transportation.
    • Performance Measurement and Reporting:
  • Track the effectiveness of relocation services.
  • Prepare reports for client companies on relocation outcomes.
    • Continuous Improvement:
  • Evaluate and enhance relocation services.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and best practices.
    • Business & Team Management:
  • Manage both the B2B and the B2C components of the business.
  • Managing and leading a team of 4 people.
    • Overall Objective: Ensure a seamless, efficient, and positive relocation experience for employees and client companies.

    Your profile

    • Experience & Industry Insight:
  • A minimum of 5 years in a managerial role in sectors such as Law firms, Accounting firms, Public Institutions/Admin, Global Mobility departments, Relocation Companies, and Consultancy.
  • Successful experience with RFP processes.
  • Contract negotiation prowess and a history of successful deal closures.
  • Prior international experience, inclusive of time spent in Portugal.
  • Proven expertise in working with international clients and adhering to global standards.
  • A proven track record in the relocations/global mobility market with a focus on sales and company expansion is valued.
  • Familiarity with the positioning of Destination Service Providers and Relocation Management Companies is valued.
  • Established connections within industry groups like EURA are valued.
    • Communication & Leadership:
  • Exceptional communication skills paired with a professional demeanor.
  • Advanced knowledge of leadership best practices.
  • Outstanding capabilities in leadership, communication, and collaboration.
    • Educational Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Law, International Relations, Business Administration, or related fields.
  • A master's degree in a pertinent domain is a significant advantage.
    • Language Proficiency:
  • Fluency in both English and Portuguese is mandatory.
  • Proficiency in an additional European language is a valued addition.
