Our client, headquartered in Vienna, is the leading multisegmented merchant in Central and Eastern Europe.

For the central service team, located at the head office in Vienna we are looking for a fullfledged Senior Logistic & Procurement Manager (m/f/d).

Your tasks:

  • Develop, adapt and issue group guidelines with regard to all Logistic & Procurement related topics and assure the compliance
  • Responsible for optimizing the logistics organization in the Group
  • Responsible for optimization of efficient warehouse and distribution organization across all premises
  • Secure the adherence of SHE (Safety, Health and Environment) rules
  • Secure group standard for processes and IS-system including trainings for key-user
  • Set out qualitative and quantitative objectives and KPI for the local organizations and the group
  • Responsible for optimization of warehouse structure and their facilities across all countries
  • Project management for all international logistic projects and M&A projects
  • Process owner of ERP-system (SAP) related to Logistics & Procurement processes

Our requirements to you:

  • Advanced graduate degree and excellent academic record (e.g. Master, MBA, etc.)
  • Project Management Experience
  • Experience in managing implementation of IS-systems and running digital transformational projects
  • Advanced SAP ERP knowledge
  • Excellent German and; English
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel (advanced skill set), MS Word, and MS PowerPoint
  • Strong growth mindset and problem solving ability
  • Organizational talent and self-driven personality
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to fast build up relationship with multiple stakeholders at different levels across the organization, with business fluency in English and German
  • Travel activity approx. 30 %
