In order to expand their teams of experts in The Netherlands, we look for a Senior Network Engineer to work for the Defense area:
Key Responsibilities
- Build and manage the data center LAN
- Convert network design into network configurations, keep them up to date and secure
- Provide 2nd / 3rd Level Support
- Work as an expert for the team
- Engage in problem-solving with motivation, passion and team-work approach
- Work with development and project teams, providing them with technical guidance
- Monitor performance & availability of IT infrastructure and security
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Several years experience with complex LAN / WAN, preferrable in large enterprise environments
- Certifications: CCNP or JNCP
- Experience with Cisco and Juniper DCLAN managed by Nexus or Apstra, as well as with EVPN-VXLAN and Cisco Nexus or Juniper QFX/PTX
- Experience of Ansible or Gitlab
- Scripting ability in Perl or Python
