Your responsibilities:

  • Global Supply Chain Digital Expert: Act as a pivotal member of our global supply chain digital team, contributing expertise at both global and regional levels to support our digital initiatives. Assist our digital service team in identifying, implementing, and measuring customer-focused digital solutions.
  • Collaborative Engagement: Engage collaboratively with colleagues to swiftly grasp BASF's unique supply chain planning processes.
  • In-depth Supply Chain Understanding: Dive deep into the intricacies of supply chain planning, particularly in Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling.
  • Daily Routine: Your daily routine will kick off with a virtual stand-up meeting, followed by various tasks such as:
  1. Understanding and refining user story requirements
  2. Developing in SAP ABAP utilizing Eclipse, AzureDevOps, and GitHub Participating in pair programming and conducting code review sessions
  3. Leveraging cutting-edge technologies for object-oriented development, automated testing, documentation, and deployment
  4. Presenting new features in sprint review meetings to internal stakeholders
  • Continuous Learning: Continuously educate yourself on emerging technologies

Your Skills:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in one of the following fields: Information Technology, Software Engineering, or Computer Science
  • Several years of experience in supply chain planning, with a solid understanding of planning systems
  • Profound knowledgeg of ABAP programming with good understanding of S/4 Hana environment
  • Strong technical aptitude and a readiness to embrace new trends and innovative solutions
  • Proficient collaboration skills, capable of effectively working with diverse team members across different geographical locations
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills with a high level of English proficiency
