In order to expand their teams of experts in The Netherlands, we look for a SRE Engineer to work for the Defense area:
Key Responsibilities
- Act proactively to monitor a stable, reliable and secure application and ICT infrastructure
- Performe assigned management tasks in the focus area of (private) Cloud Computing with Cloud Native tooling
- Support users by systematically interpreting complex incidents and identifying solutions and using (documented) experience to resolve incidents
- Work systematically during changes to address and respond to daily operational needs, avoiding service interruptions and maintaining consistency with (SLA)
- Assist with problems (Problem Management): identify failures and resolve with minimal downtime
- Supervise and coach the Junior SREs
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Good knowledge in Containerization, virtualization and Cloud Native technologies
- Expertise in IT skills, including: phases of IT production process, tooling, techniques and methodologies
- Process-oriented execution of work (ITIL / SRE / Agile / Scrum / Kanban);
- Ideally, ITIL v4 Foundation
- Excellent communication in Dutch and collaboration abilities
- Travelling required (1-2 dys per week)
