Our client is a global leader in the chemical industry and is characterized by the development of innovative solutions in various sectors. Become part of their digitalization journey by supporting the Business Accounting & Reporting Team as a (Senior) Business Solution Consultant, where you will bridge the gap between business and technical aspects of the organization, utilizing your balanced knowledge of existing technologies.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Analyze business requirements and customer needs to deliver impactful solutions aligned with existing technologies and tools
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to produce analysis reports, solution proposals, and project plans
  • Drive process improvements and achieve business objectives through innovative solution design
  • Advise internal partners on complex business processes and IT application challenges in the Process Area of Controlling
  • Conduct IT analysis and optimize complex business processes, presenting tailored concepts
  • Lead prototyping, configuration, and testing of new business solutions, ensuring quality standards
  • Assisting with preliminary project research, including assessing potential third-party providers
  • Aiding in the development of detailed cost assessments for solution design initiatives and all phases of the project lifecycle planning process
  • Contributing to intricate projects by collaborating with internal teams and external partners

Your Profile:

  • University graduate with a major in the area of Information Systems / Computer Science/ Business IT, Business Economics, Business SCM or Information Science or equivalent experience
  • 3-4 years of experience in system development, maintenance, or functional support, including at least 2 SAP project lifecycle implementations
  • Strong knowledge of SAP Controlling, especially in Product Cost Controlling (CO-PC), including Actual Costing and Inventory Valuation
  • Proficient in English, both written and spoken
  • Solid knowledge of SAP (R/3 or S/4 HANA) is essential, with familiarity with finance modules being a plus
  • High level of English in verbal and written form
  • Highly motivated to drive innovation, with a proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Advantageous: Experience in the transformation from SAP R/3 to S/4HANA
