Key responsibilities:
Sales Strategy and Planning:
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets in line with the hotel's overall business objectives.
- Conduct market analysis and identify opportunities for business growth.
- Collaborate with the Sales & Marketing Management team
- Creates a focus on attracting new business.
Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners and companies
- Identify and develop new business opportunities through networking, cold calling, and attending industry events.
- Handle high-profile clients and ensure their needs are met with exceptional service.
Sales Team Leadership:
- Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team
- Provide training and development opportunities for team members
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Coordinate with all departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Communicate effectively with hotel management to align sales efforts with overall business goals.
- Participate in hotel management meetings and contribute to decision-making processes.
- Executes and supports the operational aspects of business booked (e.g., generating proposal, writing contract, customer correspondence).
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Fluency in English and Hungarian language
- 5* Hotel experience
- 3+ years' of sales leadership experience
- 5+ years' of experience in hotel sales
- Proficiency in sales software and CRM systems.
- Strong leadership skills
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
- Flexibility to work extended hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
