Our client is an international energy services company with expertise in the exploration, production, refining and exploitation of oil and natural gas.
The purpose of this job to responsible for ensuring that the supply chain is efficient and effective throughout all the sites, and to maximize the profitability of FMCG categories. Logistics Expert to be responsible for the overall supply chain management. Logistics Expert responsibilities include organizing and monitoring storage and distribution of goods. The goal is to manage the entire order cycle so as to enhance business development and ensure sustainability and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Strategically plan and manage logistics, warehouse, transportation and customer services at the Logistics company
- Direct, optimize and coordinate full order cycle
- Liaise and negotiate with suppliers, manufacturers, retailers and consumers
- Keep track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency
- Maintain metrics and analyse data to assess performance and implement improvements
- Managing central and local promotions (including all new promotions, local, happy hours)
- Support Category Managers team with reporting – including reports preparation
- Support Category Managers in stock management
- Proactive member of the CEE CR team and the local Retail team
Required qualities and skills:
- 3-5 years working experience in Logistics or Supply Chain
- Completed Master’s degree
- Fluency in spoken and written English and Hungarian
- Demonstrable ability to lead and manage staff
- Well-developed negotiation and analytical skills
- Self-motivated personality, strong internal drive to deliver results
- Strong analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and deliver in complex, virtual environment
- Resilience under pressure
