Senior Accountant/ AP/AR Manager (f/m/x)

Your Tasks:

  • As Senior Accountant, you are responsible for the preparation of monthly reports, i.e. monthly invoicing, for reconciliation of accounts and the preparation of financial statements (UGB),
  • As an Accounts Payable Manager, you are responsible for posting ERs and the bank, reconciling supplier and balance sheet accounts and prepare payments.
  • As Accounts Receivable Manager reporting to the Head of Accounting, you will be responsible for controlling the entire process, from checking the billing; setting up, managing and supporting the dunning process, reconciling accounts with customers, following up by phone and answering customers’ questions to ensure that debtors pay the invoices on time.

Your Profile:

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English, German B1, any additional language is a plus
  • Min. of 3 years of relevant professional experience in accounting that has prepared you for one of the open positions.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance or another comparable is a plus.
  • Proficient IT user skills, especially accounting software (BMD) and spreadsheets (Excel).
  • You are characterized by a high level of accuracy, attention to details and have strong organizational skills.
  • You are known for being patient, resilient and maintain a positive attitude.
  • Unlimited permit to work in Austria, on site workplace in Vienna, with local presence required 2 to 3 days per week initially, combined with home-office. Opening an office in the Bratislava area in the medium term is a consideration.
