Business Development Manager (m/f/d) Life Science

Denmark, Sweden and Norway

Our client, is a successful, globally active life science company focused on the development, marketing, and distribution of diagnostic products and capital goods.

To expand the successful team, we are looking for a solution-oriented and motivated expert for the region Denmark, Sweden and Norway.

What your day to day will look like - You:

  • lead the development and deepening of partnerships with laboratories, university clinics as well as large hospitals and other key stakeholders, working closely together with the internal crossfunctional team.
  • identify, initiate and drive forward a range of commercial opportunities with potential and existing clients
  • contribute your valuable product knowledge in order to develop solutions together with a cross-functional team
  • take a consultative approach and build value in the mind of your customers in order to develop a competitive advantage
  • will be responsible for a range of ambitious targets, including consultancy, training courses, negotiating commercial agreements, developing strategic partnerships, increase of the market share
  • engage with key customers on a regular basis, foster strong relationships and ensure a strong and reliable presence in the market as well as an excellent customer journey
  • stay up-to-date with industry trends and adjust the field strategies accordingly

Your qualifications and experience:

  • Advanced degree (e.g. PhD, MSc) in natural sciences is preferred, candidates with proven experience will be considered
  • Demonstrated track record of success in sales and / or business development in the diagnostics field
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to establish and nurture relationships in a complex stakeholder environment
  • Highest levels of self-motivation and resilience, driving consistent performance.

This is a regional role for Denmark, Norway & Sweden and you can be based anywhere in the region, with travel activity approx. 3 days per week
