Job Description:
As a ServiceNow Consultant, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing solutions on the ServiceNow platform, focusing on ITOM and OT modules. You will work closely with clients to understand their business needs and provide tailored solutions that improve operational efficiency and service delivery. This is a hands-on development role, where you will be expected to write code, develop integrations, and implement ServiceNow best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement ServiceNow solutions, specifically focusing on ITOM (IT Operations Management) and OT (Operational Technology).
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Perform configuration, customization, and integration of ServiceNow modules to meet business needs.
- Develop ServiceNow applications, workflows, and integrations using JavaScript, ServiceNow’s scripting languages, and other tools.
- Ensure the stability, scalability, and performance of ServiceNow solutions through best development practices.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior developers and team members.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to ServiceNow instances and integrations.
- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest features and developments in the ServiceNow platform, especially in ITOM and OT areas.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 5-10 years of experience working with ServiceNow.
- Strong development skills with proficiency in JavaScript, ServiceNow scripting, and other ServiceNow tools (e.g., Flow Designer, Orchestration).
- Experience with ServiceNow OT (Operational Technology) is highly preferred.
- Experience in integrating ServiceNow with other enterprise applications and third-party systems.
- Knowledge of ServiceNow ITSM and other related modules is a plus.
- Ability to troubleshoot, debug, and optimize ServiceNow applications and workflows.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Fluent in English and Spanish (both spoken and written).
Additional Preferred Skills:
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification.
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) certification.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
- Experience working in a hybrid work environment.
- Preferable experience in the ITOM (IT Operations Management) module and deep understanding of ITIL processes and ITOM best practices..
