For one of our international clients, a leading global player in the polymer industry, we are looking for a skilled PP & PE Sales Manager in Bangladesh with a strong background in polyolefin business and extensive sales expertise in PE/PP. The ideal candidate will focus on market development and expanding the sales funnel in HDPE SBM/MBM/film/pipe segments. The role involves client identification, negotiation, commercial offer preparation, market trend analysis, and strategic business development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and expand the market for PE & PP products, with a primary focus on HDPE SBM/MBM/film/pipe segments.
- Identify and engage potential clients, conduct interviews, gather relevant data for CRM, and prepare economic calculations for deals (including working capital assessment).
- Prepare and present commercial offers to new clients, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
- Monitor and collect spot opportunities, validate them with the headquarters, and negotiate terms with clients.
- Track competitor quotations and analyze market trends to provide feedback on customer opinions.
- Conduct business travel as necessary to promote the company's product portfolio and strengthen client relationships.
- Handle and coordinate sample demand, oversee homologation processes for new clients.
- Ensure close monitoring of buyers' Letter of Credit (LC) opening status to prevent contract defaults.
- Collect and manage local claims, ensuring swift resolution.
- Prepare analytical reports and calculations, supporting strategic market analysis.
- Oversee supply chain management, including lead-time planning, delivery schedules, logistics cost evaluations, and cross-functional collaboration with HQ, logistics, legal, finance, and production teams.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the polyolefin business.
- Strong sales background with a proven track record in PE/PP sales and an extensive client database in HDPE segments.
- Deep understanding of B2B sales & marketing, supply chain, and logistics operations.
- Fluent English (proficient level) is mandatory; Chinese language proficiency is a plus.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
